EasyList ###AdTopLeader (un-hideable tier) matches the banner; its child has an id starting div-gpt-ad, which Brave's subtree walk treats as third-party (content_cosmetic.ts:509-515), and the label “Ad” is not significant text. Expected in both modes: hidden, and still hidden on the settled read.
The child is also hidden on its own by the force-tier [id^="div-gpt-ad"] rule; the verdict is the parent's.
Expectations are Brave's verdicts, stated in pages/cosmetic-fixtures.json (ENG-2306); until Brave is measured they are hypotheses. The status line mirrors the Standard expectation.
