cosmetic-tier-generichide-split

Rule tier: Brave's two engines evaluate $generichide separately (ENG-1063 finding of 2026-10-07). The EasyList exception @@://localhost/$generichide (matched through ?via=http://localhost/) is in Brave's default engine, so only that engine drops its generic selectors. Its misc generic (attribute) selectors are per engine (adblock-rust cosmetic_filter_cache.rs:338-353).

#div-gpt-ad-eng2306-t3b matches ##[id^="div-gpt-ad"] in EasyList (default engine) and a [id^="div-gpt-ad"]:not(…) rule in Brave First Party Adblock Filters (additional engine, force): the force copy survives, so expected hidden in both modes. .div-gpt-ad-eng2306 matches only EasyList's ##[class^="div-gpt-ad"], which the exception clears: expected visible. A single all-list engine shows both visible.

Expectations are Brave's verdicts, stated in pages/cosmetic-fixtures.json (ENG-2306); until Brave is measured they are hypotheses. The status line mirrors the Standard expectation.
